Really good Izakaya food! Must order drinks to pair with the food.

Food was great, ordered the fried chicken and shrimp appetizers, both fantastic and well seasoned. Staff was extremely attentive, multiple people checking in to ensure we had a good experience, would definitely go back.

Food and drinks are great, but what stood out to me the most is the excellent service by Brenda. Her attention to detail is outstanding and her energy is contagious. Thanks to her, my mom’s birthday felt extra special. That aside, I definitely recommend the miso sable fish and their ube cheesecake.

This location is of all the Guu restaurants is always our favourite, especially if it’s just the two of us. Tonight’s dinner was delicious and our server was very friendly and talkative. We had reservations, but we sat at the bar anyhow. It’s interesting to watch the chefs in action. Nobody makes chicken karage as well as Guu! Tonight’s menu had a delicious beef tendon curry that was amazing!
