Large bowls of colorful citrus for making cocktails sit atop a twenty-foot long bar perfect for grabbing a glass of wine or a bite to eat. As you explore further towards the display kitchen, you enter our lounge, also referred to as the wine library. Knotted wood shelves display our wines, divided up by wine region. Windows surround the North side of the dining room, allowing our guests to gaze out onto the fountain in our courtyard. I describe the décor as thoughtful and collective, creating little vignettes for dining areas. We offer two separate outdoor dining experiences: our courtyard with full service and our front porch great for appetizers, drinks and lounging.

Love and Salt is a story that begins with Cafe Pierre, a restaurant birthed by Guy Gabriele in 1977 to bring a taste of France to Los Angeles’ South Bay. While Cafe Pierre was a beloved part of the community for nearly 37 years, in 2014, Guy and his daughter Sylvie Gabriele, now the owner of Love and Salt, closed the restaurant to bring new life to the iconic space.Love and Salt is a philosophy: that food needs only two ingredients to be great.     We had an excellent time celebrating our anniversary at Arthur J. The food was beyond yummy, from starters to mains to dessert everything was so delicious. The baked Alaska and wagyu bavette were my favorites but everything was super tasty. These chefs definitely f***. The host was very welcoming and our server Angel gave literally the best service. His service was impeccable and recommendations were on point. The manager Caira payed us a visit and was the cherry on top of the experience. :) absolutely loved. Hundooo will be back again <3

    We came back for a Valentine’s date night after not coming for quite a while. Everything was as great as we remembered. The menu has changed a bit but the flavors and service continues to be top notch. Shout out to Nate for the great customer service!

    Food and service are fantastic. Unfortunately, about 20 minutes into our meal, a couple got seated next to us with a dog. Twice the dog came over and sniffed our plates (begged for food?) and once later he locked my elbow. Very bad situation, but the manager said CA law does not allow them to refuse customers bringing their pets.

    Excellent service! I celebrated my birthday here and they made the experience so wonderful! The crab cakes were delicious! The grilled Branzino paired with the risotto created a perfect dish!
