Maria Rondeau and JuanMa Calderón of Boston's award-winning Celeste (Eater Boston's 2018 Restaurant of the Year and Esquire Best New Restaurant) and Esmeralda in Vermont (Esquire's 2021 list of Best New Restaurant in America), open La Royal, their newest Peruvian restaurant down the block from their Cambridge home. Every time I seem to eat at this location, I wait a long time for my food. This visit was no different. I love the food & the waitress was great. Please ask the kitchen to speed it up! I never have this problem at the Beacon Hill location. It might be worth the drive to the city as the food is amazing.

Korean sticky ribs were great!| Pollo tacos were a bit spicy for me, but Jonathan, our server brought me some sour cream which helped. The flavor was very good! The Earls Bacon Cheeseburger dod not disappoint and the fries were skinny and delicious!

We always get oysters and the salmon tartare. From there we order a couple of additional dishes to share. This evening we had the redfish ceviche and it was truly next level. Chef Isaac was kind enough to speak with us about the best fishes to use in ceviche and share some helpful suggestions for preparation at home. We have just about mastered the beet salad; but, honestly, it’s always better here at Row 34 in Burlington MA. The staff are all professional and friendly. A special shout out to the shuckers!

The meal was superb, from beginning to end. Best dining out experience in a very long time. I was with a party of 4 to celebrate a birthday. We all had different pasta dishes and each one was terrific. Appetizers and desserts were great too. Excellent service and comfortable ambience and noise level. I look forward to the next time. 👍❣️
