Serving the finest in Steaks, Prime Rib & Seafood for over 60 years. Our founders Jerry and Lee Woods opened Sutter's Mill in 1958 on the corner of Foothill and Sayre in Sylmar. Sutter's Mill moved to Mission Hills in 1960.Over the next 20 years two more restaurants and a night club were added. In 2007 the founders son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Salli, opened our current location in Simi Valley. While Joe and Salli are still active, day to day operations are run by their daughter-in-law, Marie Robinson. We are all working together to keep the legacy of our founders in tact and allow us to grow into new locations in the future to extend our 63 years in business.The Sutter's Mill Family thanks you for you continued support.     Food was delicious. Pricier on Valentine’s Day. Our waiter Chris was great! Candles and roses looked amazing. Hostess gave us attitude when we kindly asked for a different table when so many were open.

    The lawry cut was so good, like a thanksgiving dinner, had to take home the rest! Loved the shrimp/jalapeno/corn fritters! If you have a chance to go the their bar at the front, I enjoyed the mango rum drink (more on the fruity side and didn’t taste the rum) Went for galentine’s day and was a nice meal to splurge on! The waiters were so nice and accommodating!

    We really enjoyed  the live music and wish they had it more often than the first Friday of the month. We sat on the patio, which was nice however, the row of seats up against the building have lights above. That would be nice if they could dim them because we felt we were under an interrogation light. It was too bright for the atmosphere. Other than that. Everything was great. The my ties are wonderful and I got the beer, battered fish tacos, which I can always only eat one. They’re so huge but it’s fun to have them for leftovers. My husband had the piccata, but it was a little lemony.
