The food was SO good but the service was horrendous. Our server didn’t check on us a single time when we were there for an hour and a half. Our appetizer didn’t show up (but it was on the bill), and they forgot about my husband’s entree so he sat without food for 10 minutes. The food took 30-40 minutes to come out which would have been ok had the appetizer not gone forgotten and had we all had entrees. If the food wasn’t so good we would never go back, but I’d try it again and hope the service improved. The French dip was insanely good! I hope they get it together because midtown could use this place.

Thanks for a great late lunch. Server was friendly and attentive. The steak au poive was delicious and the fries perfectly warm.

Came here for our Anniversary and our waitress was well knowledgeable about the menu and recommended our drinks and food which was delicious. Victor the Manager was very attentive and we were surprised with a nice chilled glass of complimentary champagne. If you are ever in the Weehawken neighborhood definitely try out The Highwood.

It was a lovely evening - especially since we could have a conversation without shouting. Excellent service . Very good food.
