In 1996, JJ's was honored with the Grand Award from Wine Spectator. In 2025, JJ's Wine List and Bar Program was honored as a Semi Finalist by the James Beard Foundation. In 1985, Jimmy Frantze purchased JJ Malane's from his former business partner and the saloon's namesake. Malane's went away, but JJ's remained, and a West Plaza fine dining icon was born.     My girlfriend and I went to Gram & Dun the Saturday after Valentine’s Day for a brunch date. We set reservations and our experience was great. Our server Sophie was great and the food was good. We would definitely go back.

    Great food!! Fresh!! Best steak and seafood by far around. Drinks are top notch! Service was polite, knowledgeable & quick. The wife and I had a great experience. And to top it off she was delivered a long stemmed rose at the end of the meal!

    Always an incredible dining experience. You cannot go wrong with a steak here. Delmonico was delicious. The Australian Wagyu filet was so tender. Only thing not what I was hoping: triple fried fries. Was hoping for a crunch and crispy but they were more single fried fries.

    Whenever my drink glasses are allowed to become empty, and waiter is nowhere in sight, and other waiters offer to refill glasses, it's a problem. I always the emember the original owners of Strouds saying glasses can never be empty. It is still the case today. It's the little things like this that make a great waiter. Capital Grill also comes to mind

    It was amazing from beginning to end. Gaspar was the most professional server we've ever encountered. We enjoyed the lobster and crab cake, the KC Strip au poivre, and the seared scallops and lobster risotto. The blackberry sidecar was the cocktail of choice. The whole experience was luxuriously decadent, and Gaspar was wonderful to make sure our anniversary was so special. Thank you all!
