So you ask why Wanda Byob? Wanda Pollyana Boos/Lipot was my Mother and my inspiration to become a Chef. Wanda was an amazing cook who actually had some serious training in her country of Trinidad and Tobago. In fact, one of my most prized mementos is my mother's... her cooking manual from Naparima Girls High School in Trinidad. What started as my mother's inspiration many years ago has turned into a career that I love and am very proud of. So here I am, my mother's son, who has spent 38 years in the kitchen, perfecting my craft. I now want to share what I've learned with all of you in a place I can call my own.With the help of my wonderfully supportive wife, Gilda and my wonderful family behind me, I look forward to what's to come. First, our server Dawn was sensational! The celebration centered around my retirement earlier today, and Dawn couldn’t have been more excited and happy for me. Beyond that, our dry aged NY Strip Steaks were prepared perfectly, the creamed spinach and cauliflower au gratin were great complements to our entrees. Finally, my s’mores crème brûlée was magnifique! For my $$, The Chophouse is the finest steakhouse in New Jersey! Scenic views, beautiful interior, always friendly great service and spectacular cuisine. For the record, we’ve been customers there for 22 years and drove 90 minutes to enjoy this fabulous culinary experience… and we’ll, of course, be back! Thank you! ❤️

We were warmly greeted by our friendly waiter Mario who provided superior customer service throughout our dinner. The food was superb from apps to entrees. A very memorable experience for everyone in our party. Highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions.
