It proudly carried all the hard working Calgarians that shaped our city into what it is today.Our goal at Trolley 5 is to continue to bring the community together through great food, beer and friendship. With beers like our Turntable Lager winning Best Lager/Pilsner at the Canadian Brewing Awards, there is lots to try in our Community Brewpub. Last Best Brewing & Distilling opened its doors in May 2015. The name Last Best draws from Calgary’s eclectic history. At the end of the 1800s, the Canadian government launched a campaign called ‘The Last Best West’; it’s purpose was to populate the western prairies and grow agriculture in Canada. The administration believed that this area was the Last Best chance in the modern world for homesteaders to lay roots and shape their futures. The accomplishments resulting from the Last Best initiative have paved the way for the budding craft beer and distilling industries here in Alberta. Last Best Brewing & Distilling honours this historical spirit through its name and unwavering commitment to making delicious well-crafted beer, spirits and Alberta-inspired cuisine.

South Block is a North-Carolina inspired BBQ hall and brewery on the edge of Mission, in Calgary. Upstairs you’ll find a large dining room, 20-seat bar, and a year-round indoor/outdoor beer garden. Downstairs hosts our stage, live music hall, and brewerey – where we brew our entire draft lineup from classic staples like our Pilsner, Lager, and IPAs, to our unique seasonal Peach Bourbon Ale and Mango Wheat Ale.Behind the bar, we run a hand-crafted cocktail program and offer a whiskey list of over 200 varietals, including American, Canadian, Irish, Scottish, and Japanese whiskeys.However, the biggest draw has to be our slow-smoked barbecue menu. Inspired by the flavours of North Carolina, our team arrives early every morning to smoke our famous brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and more for up to 14 hours.

Found in the heart of historic Currie Barracks in Calgary, AB we have transformed the D4 Stables landmark into a unique collaboration restaurant. Nestled into our West wing we have Vaycay Brew Co brewing up unique, easy drinking beers, and our East is the home to Burwood Distillery focusing on craft made spirits like gins and whiskey using local ingredients like our Honey farms. In the middle we are Veranda, so whether you are in for a beer or cocktail we have them all, and produced on site!
