Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Certain dishes have become specialities such as our sticky ribs and homemade 8oz burgers. Our beef has been aged for a minimum of 35 days and the roast beef served on Sundays is unrivalled. I chose the Greene Oak for a family birthday meal as the food never disappoints and we always receive great service. Today was no exception and they even did a small birthday dessert as a surprise which was much appreciated. We will be back again soon!

Another wonderful visit. Friendly welcome, shown to the table straight away and with drinks orders shortly after. Due to the great weather it was busy outside which added to the staff business but still served in good time. Food was fantastic, the sharing roast platter went down very well. Couldn't recommend this place more!
