Steeped in history, The Lion dates back about 500 years, and was built when King Charles I was on the British throne and even before the famous Gunpowder Plot of 1605. Originally constructed as a house, for centuries the quirky building has been welcoming visitors as a traditional British pub.     Wow we were so impressed. Every thing about our service and food was 10/10. We arrived early and were happy to grab a drink or 2 at the bar but our table was ready. Therefore we ate before planned and wow. We searched and searched for a lovely roast in Bath and I’m so glad we came across this place. The beef, roasties, sides, service.. nothing could have been better. Highly recommend to anyone looking to book!

    A Sweet Birthday at Ivy We celebrated our toddler’s 2nd birthday at Ivy, and it was perfect! The staff was warm and attentive. The food was delicious for adults and toddler-friendly (pancakes were a hit!). They even surprised us with a candle-lit dessert, making the moment special.

    Always a great welcome when you arrive All staff are friendly smiling and happy to see you Drinks and food service is very professional and you are made to feel that you are getting value The food is the highlight flavours and presentation the chef needs to go master chef and he would win by a mile Never had a bad meal drink or experience here The place the staff the food are a 10 out 10 A must if you have never been even pop in for a drink you will be very welcomed A very satisfied customer
