Higher Ground is a British bistro and bar located in Manchester city centre that focuses on seasonality within the UK using produce sourced from local suppliers and producers. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Saturday at dinner and at lunchtime on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.At lunch a £40pp seasonal sharing menu is offered alongside an à la carte menu. At dinner, both an à la carte and a seasonal sharing menu at £58pp are available. Both menus are available when sat at the kitchen bar counter.We often hold space for walk-ins at the kitchen bar counter so pop by and have some plates and a glass of wine!Reservations of up to twelve guests are accepted via the OpenTable online reservation platform. For parties of 7x guests and over, the seasonal sharing menu is served.

    The food, wine, cocktails and service was outstanding. This place is an absolute neighbourhood gem. The playlist was spot on too...we could have stayed there all night sipping (well I think we did outstay normal opening hours) sorry Sam! We will be back soon! Thank you for a lovely evening

    We had an excellent experience here. The chateaubriand (from the special menu) was fantastic, cooked perfectly, plenty of it and great value for money. Lovely little restaurant. Will definitely be returning soon.

    Great ambience, fabulous food and although it was a really busy service, we didn't feel rushed or neglected at any stage. Catered for the wide range of needs in our group with food that, while beautifully presented, was very much focussed on great taste. We all left feeling well fed and enjoyed the drinks menu too. Will definitely be going back.
