Inspired by yakitori izakayas, Big Night is going to be putting seasonal British-ish produce on sticks and cooking it on our charcoal grill. The food will be simple, loud and fun, perfect to be eaten with a beer in hand and friends at your side.The menu will draw on a variety of influences rather than pretending to adhere to the concept of an authentic cuisine (this is not a Japanese restaurant).     Absolutely exceptional flavors on all dishes seafood and raw, sampled the Valentines menu and was pleased with the freshness of ingredients, intensity and pairings of flavor, and medium portion sizes given the higher end nature of the ingredients. Servers were pleasant, ambiance was gently lit and spacious, and a big shout out to the lobster-with-ikura bisque, the wagyu tartare, the exceptionally green-tangy-tasting hamachi, and the miso black cod maki that was the best bite of the night.

    We went on a Saturday afternoon as a party of 7 for my husband’s birthday. The food was incredible; we ordered a big selection of starters, sides, rolls and sharing plates to share between us and loved it all. The staff were smiling, friendly, helpful and attentive without hovering or rushing us. The food was excellent, service was perfect, the setting was beautifully decorated, clean and quiet. Fantastic value for money. We will definitely be back.
