Ember Yard is the fourth restaurant from Salt Yard Group and has been influenced by our travels around Spain and Italy and their methods of cooking over charcoal and wood.We commissioned and custom built a bespoke, Basque-style grill and sourced some amazing single species sustainable charcoal and wood from Kent to cook with. Food was great! Every tapas, ( pastel bacalhau/ alheira pastel) main dish ( pork, picanha, bacalhau à Brás) was beautifully cooked. Very authentic and the desserts were simple but that’s what really we were looking for. Pastel de nata as usual never disappoints especially with the canela ice cream. I am Portuguese therefore I am able to judge authentic food and I was happily surprised with quality. Service was kind and attentive. Highly recommend

A lively restaurant with a good selection of dishes at a reasonable price. Portion sizes for the 'small share' dishes were larger than expected. We experienced a wonderful service by our server.
