The restaurant features a bar and a smaller dining dining room for private dining and events, a grill that is fired up to bring you some of our kitchen favourites and an alfresco terrace that makes it possible to dine under the skies regardless of London weather. Food overall was good. The Welsh rarebit for starters was good as was the roast for mains, although it could have more gravy, which wasn’t a problem when we asked for more. Service and attention to detail could be better. They forgot two of our starters which they apologised and deducted our starters from the bill. Water carafe and wine was neglected, which should be automatically topped up. Plus I asked for the heating to be turned on otherwise we would’ve kept our coats on. If they can refine those small details, then it would deserve 5 stars.

Spectacular brunch, four of us sharing. Wanted everything - ended up having several things twice. Vietnamese eggs splendid, the breadMac (“Return of the Mac”) a work of genius and the banana ‘pancake’ banging. Thanks so much!
