We are a dog friendly pub as long as they are with well behaved hoomans but we don't allow dogs in our dining area, if you would like to bring a four-legged friend, let us know and we can seat you in our bar area or garden.We accept bookings up to 6 inside, multiple bookings cannot be made for the same party. Our inspiration is the Zeus Faber… John Dory, one of many local fish that can be fished sustainably and from our shores and although it has a wonderful Latin come Greek name it also has a very British name, John Dory. Faber is the Latin word for ‘Smith’ – Like a few other Latin occupational names (e.g. Agricola for farmer, Nauta for sailor). Smith being the most common name in English we decided it sits well with our name as we want to be accessible to all and give everyday people the opportunity to be part of our journey and own the business they work in.What sets us apart is our commitment to working with local fishmongers who run out to the coast each evening to collect day-boat fish and local ingredients. This means that everything on our menu is fresh, sustainably sourced, and supports the local economy.We believe in creating dishes that are not only delicious but also ethical and responsible.

Food was delicious served by very pleasant staff. Glad we'd booked, as our table was in an area away from the main throng. The lighting may not have been as pleasing, (a little bright), but at least it was away from the screaming kids. Noise levels in the main body of the area were high.

The food and the service were excellent. The atmosphere is restricted by the location in the basement of Harrods. We are looking forward to our next breakfast soon
