The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. Roasts run all day on a Sunday and we guarantee to make sure you will always have ample spuds, gravy and yorkies!

A modern pub serving a frequently changing menu, available in our dining room, bar, and outside ledges. It's not fine dining, nor is it trying to be. We cook in a way that we as cooks like to eat, so don’t be afraid to share. If you want to pop in for a burger and a pint, feel free to grab any available space in the bar or outside. We accept bookings for tables of up to six people in the dining room.It can be loud and slightly chaotic; at night it is dark. We turn tables because we need to in order to survive and pay the people that make it work, so please don’t be offended if we ask you to wait a moment for your table.     Nice, friendly, warm pub. Great ambience and a really fun quiz night. And great way to spend an evening and I love the pub garden in summer. A little bit pricey for the area perhaps, but honestly most gastro pubs are priced similarly, and the food does not dissapoint!

    Went on a quiet Monday evening, found the ambiance and staff pleasant and the food good. Might be rather different experience on a busier night/weekend, but certainly happy to recommend for a relaxed meal at a decent price in a welcoming pub :)

    The staff and the manager were very friendly! We were 4 adults and 5 kids. We had couple of rounds of drink and food. They very very helpful! We got free juices for kids. Later, when we were just about to leave the pub, the kids got a churros with vanilla ice cream as well for free. Amazing experience! We can not be thankful enough for the helpfulness, kindness, professionalism what we received here! We will come back again, once we are in London again!
