Our inspiration is the Zeus Faber, one of many local fish that can be fished sustainably and from our shores; although it has a wonderful Latin come Greek name, it also has a very British name - John Dory.     when arrived very noisy loud wih kids running and screaming and shouting later they left. In an afternoon on Saturday which we tried to be earlier and had called to see if can go even earlier we were told quiet but that is ok. Service great but each staff seemed mostly in such rush but last one asked if all ok. many thanks. Food compared to price is too high but that is most pubs. At least they have different and more food on the menu. Portions quite small especially sea bass but tastes great.

    Great seafood restaurant that really knows how to prepare shellfish. Service was excellent and only slightly marred by a side disk being forgotten but when pointed out was rapidly rectified and removed from the bill. Thanks for a great meal.

    Another wonderful dinner, the haddock was very fresh and wonderfully cooked and we love the calamari strips, the best ever, meaty! All the accompaniments and sides are well prepared, everything to like! Great to have a neighbourhood place which is opened all day so we can have meals at any time.
