Patri has several meanings, in Hindi it means Pavement, in Urdu it means Track and in ancient Sanskrit its means a vessel or small furnace. The name took us back to our origins and we decided to use Pavement, Tracks, and Furnace to come up with a street food menu containing all three elements. My second visit was as fabulous as the first. The food is fresh, well prepared, and exceedingly delicious. Ffiona and her team were welcoming and make the atmosphere friendly and light hearted.

Prawn and salmon starters were excellent. Less impressed with the fish curry that was made with coley, was ok. The bhindi dopiaza was nice. The ambiance is good and the decor looks great, a welcome addition to Chorleywood. Service was a little slow at times but friendly. Came to about £55 a head with only one drink so a little steep considering we had tea instead of dessert. Would go again but not for the fish curry!
