Volta do Mar is the culmination of a journey of discovery the founders - Isabel and Simon - made over many years. They traced their family-history through food and travel, learning how people and culture integrated and inter-married across continents and over distant seas. I absolutely loved this place. Dinner for 4. We tried 8 dishes + dessert (probably could have eaten the same all over again it was so good). Pork cheeks were a stand out dish, but everything was amazing and the plates were clean every time!

Beautiful rooftop restaurant with amazing views to Battersea Power station building and surroundings. But the food was the best with a selection of mostly classic spanish entrees deleciously made, the "croaquetas de jamon" and the "patatas bravas" were the best we have tried in a long time (and we are Spanish so we have tried a lot). We loved as well the "bacalau a brass" and the "pluma de iberico". We finished with a "basque cheese cake" that we totally recommend too. The service was also impeccable and very attentive, they even brought me a small chocolate brownie with a candle for my birthday without us asking for it. We would definitely be back and would recommend to all our friends.
