The Catherine Wheel is a 17th century country pub in the historic conservation village of Marshfield. It’s just eight miles north of the Roman city of Bath (a World Heritage site) and 13 miles from the port of Bristol, named European Green Capital 2015.Marshfield stands close to where three county borders meet at Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Somerset. This is at the southern gateway to the rolling Cotswold hills which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.Our chefs are highly regarded for creating wholesome, freshly-prepared dishes, using local produce as much as possible.

Our Head Chef Chris Wicks is a multiple award winner and has received national acclaim while heading up the kitchen at some of Bristol’s most iconic restaurants. Here in Keynsham Chris and the team focus on serving up great British food the way it’s meant to be done.We created the concept with input from Josh Eggleton, chef patron of The Pony & Trap and Adrian Kirikmaa, Food Development Manager at St Monica Trust.Our fully stocked bar offers an extensive range of wines, craft beers, ciders, gins and other spirits.
