We had a lovely evening at Pedro’s. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, great wine selection, the food arrived quickly and was delicious too, and Lucas provided brilliant and friendly service the whole time. Will definitely be returning soon - thanks again!

Portuguese tapas are so good, especially at Bar Douro. They have Portuguese waitresses, and as a Portuguese person, I love that because, honestly, people who go to Bar Douro get recommendations from people who have eaten Portuguese food all their lives. They know what they are recommending for you. The sausage croquettes, the octopus salad, the potatoes with garlic, the prawns ( Gambás ao Guilho” the Bacalhau a Bras, and the Artichoke salad were our pick tonight, and it didn't disappoint at all; we also had the Pasteis de nata with cinnamon ice cream and the Portuguese style fig cake with vanilla ice cream. We had a fantastic choice of food, and honestly, next time, I will eat the cod fish fritters because they are excellent, too. My friend enjoyed her birthday dinner. The Ginjinha cocktails were refreshing and tasty, and the port wine was great for dessert.

Really great place. Food was great. Staff really helpful.

We had to leave our table unexpectedly because my fiend received a call to say his son was being taken to hospital following an accident. The manager waived the cost of the water and helped us exit immediately. It was very compassionate and kind. We shall return and cannot commend the staff enough.
