Niall, a proud champion for Northern Ireland’s tourism and hospitality sector, we’re thrilled to announce that Waterman opens under the same roof as our Waterman House Cookery School. Our plans for an exciting, creative hub in the heart of the Cathedral Quarter can help breathe new life into this vibrant part of the city, and we believe it’s the perfect spot for a new culinary venture. “Customers will enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and excellent classic European-style cuisine made with quality local produce. What people want more than ever is quality food and great service, and that’s what we will deliver at Waterman. Long thought to be the building where our entries namesake was held as a prisoner before being hung in Cornmaket, The Jailhouse as it is now known has been frozen in time for the last 70 years nearly forgotten about completely. Restored as part of the Joys Entry project, the aim was to keep as much of the original character of the building as possible. Brick walls, inscribed beams and original windows, take a closer look and see what history and tales you can find while you sip on tipples and nibble on rations. Time Served Well.
