A delightful find, but very well hidden! I booked NEST Farmhouse for a Valentines dinner, and - driving there through unlit and unmarked roads on a dark and snowy night - left full and happy. While the outside of the building is slightly confusing, looking more like a hotel than a restaurant, the inside is warm and welcoming, with a large hearth at one end. We were seen and seated immediately by our friendly waitress (Abbie), and offered the night’s specials. For a starter, I ordered the parsnip and apple soup which was thick, hearty and delicious, but not enough to spoil my appetite for the main course. We had both ordered the beef with the root vegetables and garlic potatoes. All the meats were locally produced, which you could tell, given the juicy taste and texture - just the way I like and ordered it. For dessert, I ordered the apple crumble, while my partner ordered the mini doughnuts with the orange sauce, which arrived warm from the oven, and were light to the bite. The bill was very reasonable, and I was happy to tip, given both the excellent and attentive service, and very high quality food we had received. Overall, a perfect valentines dinner, and I will certainly be back at Nest Farmhouse next time I am in Norfolk.

Lovely experience. We had the Peter Pan afternoon tea and it was delicious! We also loved the added touch that £1 per afternoon tea is donated to St Ormond Street Hospital! The display was lovely with lots of fun details. We went on Valentine’s Day and it wasn’t too loud or crowded. We were celebrating a birthday and we received a birthday card and a little chocolate treat with a candle in on the arrival of our tray. Staff were polite and attentive. Highly recommend.

Fabulous place to have lunch and I’ll definitely come back for dinner. Caitlin and Bradley were excellent, friendly and fun members of staff. Made you feel very welcome. Very dog friendly. Would highly recommend.
