Cocktail club for after work drinks features 2-4-1 selected drinks 5-7pm every weekday evening. Please note, 48 hours noticed is required for afternoon tea bookings.When making your reservation please indicate whether you will be dining or joining us for drinks only. Tables are allocated two hours. For parties of 7 or more, guests dine from our set menu or bottomless brunch menu and a pre-order is required.We require a £15pp deposit for all Friday and Saturday bookings, this can be paid via our website.Please note - if your party size changes less than 48 hours before you reservation, the £15 paid will not be deducted from the final bill.

THE APPEAL OF DAMON RUNYON, the New York storyteller, newspaperman and sportswriter came from his mastery, but also invention, of 1920s American slang – a mixture of the ‘louche and the lugubrious’ according to the New Yorker magazine. He would go to Lindy’s, an all-night Jewish deli on Broadway that became Mindy’s in his stories, and listen.Runyon married a down-on-her-luck Spanish countess from Madrid, 26 years his younger, who turned out to be an up-on-her-heels Mexican dancer from Tampico. When he died his ashes were taken up in a plane and sprinkled all over New York.

Influenced by the late night dives of lower east side New York, PUBLIC is the latest opening on the square. Open every day 'til late, we've got cold beers, cocktails, natural wines and a food menu filled with Chinatown-inspired bangers. As well as the interiors filled with local artists and good energy, we've got plenty of seats outside on the sunny side of the square. We're walk-ins only with the exception of Bottomless Brunch every weekend 12-5pm.
