We are a small, family run restaurant since 2002 specialising in carefully sourced Aberdeen Angus beef from Scottish small highland farms, cooked simply but with flair and attention to detail.Our emphasis is on high quality local ingredients and fresh produce from the best of local suppliers. Beef is selected, prepared and hung for us by Award wining "John Gilmour" of Macmerry master butchers since 1946. Fresh fish are delivered daily by Calum Sinclair and J.K Thompsons. West coast Mussels are delivered fresh daily by "Sea Mcgee". Our venison comes from wild Perthshire deer, lamb from the Scottish Borders. Both my husband and I had a wonderful meal . The haggis starter dish was so tasty and quite filling. Additionally, the Cullen Skink soup was out of this world...thick with fish. The fish and chips was fresh and flaky. The Venison was prepared to perfection...a thick rich sauce with tender chucks of meat. It was the most enjoyable meal in Glasgow. The wait staff was friendly very accommodating. A must for anyone who wants to experience traditional Scottish food at its best.

We were celebrating my mam’s birthday and it was the perfect place . Friendly team, amazing, delicious food. Everything was just perfect. Definitely would recommend going here. Can’t wait to visit this place again.

We enjoyed a fabulous meal - food (we had the cout de boeuf with three sides and two sauces between us) was delicious together with a great wine - service (prompt, and friendly but never hurried) was excellent too. Thanks for a lovely dining experience!
