Water Lane is a restaurant based within a working market garden in the High Weald of Kent. Guided by the seasons, our menu reflects its sense of place in the English countryside where we grow our own vegetables and use local suppliers. Birthday meal Set menu with dishes we probably would not have chosen normally but have to say that they were very well presented and tasted lovely. Had great help with choosing the accompanying wines and loved the little extras. We have been a few times now and have never been disappointed.

We had a bad experience at The George after the pandemic. So thought we would try again as we live locally. This time was fantastic with great food and service and it is so beautifully decorated. Our lovely Spanish waiter made us feel very spoilt, especially as this was our Ruby Anniversary. We will be back.
