The Ivy is a beautiful restaurant however I will not be going on Valentine’s Day again. They shoved me and my husband on a tiny table in the upstairs function room which had be utilized for additional tables where I cut myself on a tree behind me. We felt rushed and there wasn’t enough room between the tables which made for a manic feeling. Food as always phenomenal and the staff did the best they could even though we had a different waiter for each course and they all seemed very overwhelmed nd tired.

We had a great lunch for three of us. The only challenge was choosing from the many excellent choices on the menu. The staff were so friendly and attentive. A great place which lived up to our memories of previous visits.

I went for lunch with a friend. The menu was varied and innovative. There were classic dishes and interesting variations such as Halloumi curry, which had wonderful flavours that popped in ones mouth. As a starter I had a very interesting anchovy dish which was a true delight of smoky and sea, reminiscent of holidays in Portugal. For dessert I went old school and enjoyed a treacle tart..mmm. We shall certainly return 🥰

Excellent Sunday roast. Potatoes could do with some improvement but the rest was very good. Great wine list and service.
