The award winning Carriages restaurant is uniquely located within the allpay ltd campus in Whitestone Business Park, Hereford, and has been described as "City chic in rural Hereford". Carriages was inspired by founder Tony Killeen's passion for trains and the quirky setting of the restaurant, which overlooks the old Whitestone railway station.You can enjoy views of the rolling hills from the floor to ceiling windows in the top floor restaurant; dine inside or alfresco, on the spacious balcony, or walk the landscaped grounds surrounding the Four Seasons lake - which transforms into a maze of secret gardens, impressively lit up at night. Carriages is open Friday and Saturday evenings.For bookings over 6 and/or to book our free mini bus service, for use after dining, please call 01432 852303 or email carriages@allpay.netDue to the nature of the restaurant, any children dining must be over 12 years old and accompanied by an adult.Dress code is strictly Smart Casual.

    Wow we were so impressed. Every thing about our service and food was 10/10. We arrived early and were happy to grab a drink or 2 at the bar but our table was ready. Therefore we ate before planned and wow. We searched and searched for a lovely roast in Bath and I’m so glad we came across this place. The beef, roasties, sides, service.. nothing could have been better. Highly recommend to anyone looking to book!

    Food was amazing. Delicious and cooked to perfection. Quality ingredients. Starters were croquettes and lasagne bites, yummy. Mains were Trio of beef - Steak was tender and melted in your mouth. Beef dripping gravy was stunning. Sea Bass in a Penang broth - tasty and morish. One of the best meals we've had in a long time. Great value for money and such a beautifully decorated place. It was warm and welcoming, just like the staff, who were also very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. Can't wait to go again. 😊
