A rural public house serving local beers, Berkshire gin and ciders, as well as a great wine selection. Bar snacks and full meals available 7 days a week. Cooking over a central grill makes for great theatrical cooking from our open-plan kitchen, overseen by Head Chef Nick Galer. Whilst a subtle Basque feel will permeate throughout, its roots are firmly founded on those of a classic English pub – so while featuring top end Basque dishes fit for a destination dinner, it also offers simple pub snacks for a light lunch… while the food may be inspired by the Basque country, the ingredients are local… and while the wines may be sourced from Iberia, the beer is very much English.The crowning glory is the sensational open kitchen, with a huge, CHARCOAL FIRED parilla grill and a BRICK OVEN as its centrepiece and all in front of the guests – very visual and very theatrical.     The Ivy chain does what it does to a fabulous standard. The decor in each of their restaurants is a pleasure to behold, the staff are always professional, courteous and some of them have the most beautiful outfits. The menu provides a fair selection so that everyone can find something to eat, the dishes are presented with finesse and are of great quality. The great thing about the Ivy is that it is a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds. Each branch I have been to has provided a pleasurable experience and the Windor incarnation is no exception.

    What I love about The Loch and The Tyne isn’t just the great food which is always outstanding, is the staff! The staff are always so welcoming, friendly, happy and just seem happy to serve you and whether they are or not, make you feel like they love their job.     Me and my wife visited this lovely pub for their Sunday Roast and wow! What a delicious meal! The portion sizes where incredible and the food tasted so fresh! The service was good and the place was very clean. We will definitely be back again soon!
