We traveled from Leeds for our anniversary, and every member of staff we encountered was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The decor was stunning, the food was 10/10, and the atmosphere was delightful. Overall, the experience was great, and we will definitely be returning. We got complimentary bread and butter at the start, which was a nice touch. The venue has character and is a charming old building. Our server was brilliant, especially considering her very young age - she was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. The village of Buckland is beautiful - we went for a walk after lunch.
