Looking for a break from uni or work? Head over to The Soar Point, a vibrant yet relaxed pub and bar in Leicester. We’re close to De Montfort University and are an easy to find student pub with everything you could possibly want to wind down. We’re known for our great pub food and drinks, with space to chill out with your friends, watch BT and SKY sports on our screens, and a whole host of gaming and entertainment events. We’re open all day, so whether you have a short break or want to settle down somewhere for the day, you’re welcome. If you can’t stay due to deadline commitments or lectures to attend, be sure to swing by our Ground Up Coffee hatch outside for your coffee fix on the move. Whether it is great beer, delicious cocktails, scrumptious food or a place to just kick back and watch the match; we are here for you. We have seven booths with their own screens which shows that we are not kidding when we say we love sport. We also have three Sky boxes so you can watch whatever match you like! Friday and Saturday nights we have our own house DJ in to bang out the tunes!

    Really lovely Sunday lunch at the Two Pigs! 4 lovely Sirloin beef roasts, puddings and starters! Staff very attentive, lovely atmosphere, beautifully presented food, great portion sizes. Roast potatoes were a big favourite! Excellent value for money - would definitely return again for a meal soon.

    We were warmly welcomed by the team & made to feel special all evening The servers were attentive but not overwhelming. The atmosphere was warm, calm & quiet We had lasagne & fillet steak & chocolate brownie the food was well cooked & delicious Very good value for money too

    As always food fantastic, fast service to bring out the food, could have done with being asked if we wanted more drinks as once we’d eaten we didn’t see anyone then and weren’t offered sweet menu or anything afterwards not that we could have fit a dessert in but would have been nice to be asked or if we wanted more drinks. Other than that though highly recommend food was lovely will be returning as love it here.
