The ambience of the restaurant is perfect - the pork chop was the best I have ever had - and the attention to detail is off the charts. Excellence is a choice and the team at 211 Clover choose it !

My wife and I enjoyed Valentine's Day dinner at The Village Anchor and were seated in the covered patio area below. The food was great but a little pricey. French Onion Soup could have been hotter and we found a lack of saltiness to everything but not terrible. The wine was reasonable and they didn't try to upsell. The dessert was huge - really enjoyed that. Friendly staff top to bottom. I had trouble finding reservations for V-Day and this place was busy but not packed at all. The lighting in the covered porch area did not at all reflect a fine dining experience, though - which killed a bit of the ambiance despite the cute Valentine's decor. Overall a good experience and we'll return if I have an extra $200 but for that kind of money I know we could do better. I look forward to brunch as their menu promises a variety of great looking option.

So tired of fast food joints popping up in Middletown… Thank you for bringing Lou Lou to us! Great Galentine’s dinner with friends - we will be back!

Food was wonderful we had salmon dish, pasta dish and brussel sprout salad. Our server Wyatt was great and all in all a very enjoyable dinner.
