Standing high above the city on the 10th floor of the City Club Apartments, at 309 Vine Street; resurrected from the history that has stood here before our time, Shires' Rooftop is inspired by the first amusement resort in this part of the country, Shires' Garden. Though the original Shires' Gardens burned to the ground, "in a most picturesque fire," the legacy that was left behind is everlasting and an integral part of the Queen City's history. Great food and service as always! I requested the barrel room and was granted that request which was so kind of them! I had the tuna and my husband had chicken piccata. Both excellent!

Katelyn did a great job. Caesar Salad very disappointing, too much dressing which made the lettuce limp, presentation poor. French Onion soup fantastic as was a he Short Ribs.

Food is always fantastic. The service is better than what you find in most restaurants of similar cuisine. My only complaint is that it can be difficult to hear due to the volume of the patrons. Not sure much could be done about that.
