Enjoyed a lovely meal with friends at the Ivy, Brighton on Tuesday for my birthday. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, the service was fantastic, gorgeous ambience and delicious food. We had the 2 course Heritage meal which was such good value, and had a glass of complementary English sparkling wine each and a dessert with candle as it was my birthday! Lovely venue, great food delivered by friendly staff. Fabulous experience

We had an excellent table by a window as requested with our booking. Three of us had the beef and one the lamb and all agreed it was the tastiest lunch we’ve had for many a month. Staff were very attentive and we had no problem changing the veg dishes over. We didn’t have a desert and if I read correctly the cheese was £22 pounds, which seemed a tad expensive. Overall a very enjoyable Sunday lunch and we will definitely return.

Beautiful, unspoilt, old pub with open log fires. Staff are very friendly and attentive, service with a smile. We started with the sharing meat platter which was delicious. My husband had the roast beef and I had the roast belly pork, large portions and really tasty. After a little rest we both went for sticky toffee pudding with honeycomb and ice cream, a real treat. We would recommend The Three Horseshoes without hesitation.

Lovely venue and very helpful staff. We had a cream tea for 2 with a glass of sparkling local wine (which we didn’t get!) Personally I don’t think I would pay that amount again for what we got, the salmon on a small roll was inedible and the sandwiches were literally a 1/4 of a piece of bread with filling each. The scone wasn’t particularly fresh and the cake offerings were tiny. The breakfast tea was lovely, and the service fabulous. So all in all don’t bother with the afternoon teas over priced, just not worth it. But service lovely so go and try the hotel, Spa and main meals.
