Ernie's is an "open to the public" Gastro-Pub located at PGA West, overlooking the famous Stadium and Nicklaus Tournament courses.     My friends wife and I celebrated our same day birthdays 10 years apart. The Sandbar was the best place I’ve eaten in Coachella valley! Our server Katie was professional and had a great personality! She allowed me to adjust the vegetable serving for my veal Marsala dinner that was fantastic! Other dishes chicken piccata, tomato soup with chopped wedge and bacon/ cheese were great too. Drinks did not disappoint We will be back!

    We tried the 1501 burger, which was decent, although a bit dry. The tomato onion jam was overly sweet, but the horseradish slaw was a great addition. The real star, though, was the side of onion rings - they were absolutely amazing!

    We always enjoy our evening at the Purple Room. The staff is very responsive and the food is excellent - as are the drinks. There is an extensive cocktail menu, but they will still make you a drink not on the menu. The pear salad is very tasty. I also enjoy the chicken Roulade with pasta. Sharon Sills was this night's performer and her show was excellent, even though her voice was suffering a little from a cold.
