First time dining. We liked the ambiance outside and inside immediately. Staff was courteous and friendly. Seating was spacious and comfortable and music was not loud but upbeat. There were specials for Valentine's Day weekend. My wife much to my pleasant surprise chose the duck tacos as her appetizer which was great because then I got to sample one as well and we both agreed that they were a keeper. Sushi was up next which was fresh with just enough flavor and "zing". We love sushi. My wife judges each establishment by her main course of branzino and half-way through announced that we would indeed be returning. I had a veal chop which came "old school" Italian flatter than a pancake, bigger than the plate, and invisible under a sea of greens. I never knew veal could be that tender. Before I knew it, my plate was empty, but not before my wife could not stop sampling the salad topping. Desert was a pleasant surprise of apple beignets. We love anything that reminds us of dining in New Orleans. With a bottle of French wine, all was savory and satisfying. I would put this Eisenhower Park oasis on your dining list. We went for valentine’s day dinner, and it was great. I will definitely be back. The branzino was fantastic, i would also recommend the filet mignon. Our server is was great and the food did not take too long. The cocktails did take awhile to come, which i do understand they were very busy. We are looking forward to going back soon and trying more items on the menu. One thing i would criticize would be the valet, i understand they are swamped on a Saturday night but they whip around the cars too fast in that tiny parking lot. Next time i will park in a different lot and walk over.

Spectacular dinner with our brother and sister in law at Gioia in Oyster Bay tonight. It was our fourth time there and their first. We split appetizers of grilled cauliflower with ricotta and pistachios and warm mozzarella with prosciutto de Parma. Normally, I hate cauliflower but can’t imagine not ordering it there as it is just so good. Everyone enjoyed it. The prosciutto in the mozzarella with prosciutto de Parma tastes a cut above from other restaurants I’ve been to and melts in your mouth. My husband had the tortellini; his brother had the Gnocchi Bolognese; his wife (a picky eater) had the capellacci; and I I had the gramigna. Throughout the dinner my husband wouldn’t shut up about how he loves that place and how good it was. (So much so I wanted to hit him! 😂). Everything was perfect and our brother and sister in law both said they’ll be back. We had a little bit of a wait for the table (but not that long) so the apologetic manager said our first round of drinks was on the house. The pours are generous. The food portions look small, but they are really all you need. You leave satiated without leftovers and enjoyed a delicious meal. In my visits there I have had the mushroom lasagna, the ravioli, the capellacci, and gramigna and honestly can’t say which I liked best. Cappuccino was perfect too. Excellent wait service. Can’t wait to go back for a fifth time and turn on some more friends. (Not many pictures because background pretty dark.)

This was our second time here. It was just as great as the first time. The food and ambiance was great. What made it extra special was our waitress Jade. She was awesome. She was attentive,our water cups were always full and she was very patient in explaining dishes and drinks to us. She even swapped out one drink my wife didn't like at no extra cost or hassle. Jade made our Valentine's dinner that much special. She even took pictures for us.

Great food, varied menu Quinoa & beet salad delicious, spaghetti carbonara really good, grilled octopus the best ever had, filet mignon top notch, & interesting chocolate tree dessert
