The Halibut and Red Snapper were outstanding, and Katelyn was an amazing server who was very knowledgeable about the menu. It was very disappointing that we had 8:45 reservations, but we were not seated until 9:15. This was Valentines weekend, but I feel that a restaurant of this caliber should have been better prepared for the holiday crowd.

This place DID NOT DISAPPOINT...EVERYTHING was TOP NOTCH...Our waiter/server Mike was spot on and attentive to our needs...Food was DELICIOUS and beyond expectations...Everyone was friendly and courteous...I will DEFINITELY be going back soon because there are still other food selections I need to try...The ONLY issue I had has nothing to do with the restaurant itself, but finding it was a little difficult and the garage parking was TERRIBLE, but DONT let that stop you from going to 1 of the BEST restaurants in Atlanta...

Nobu was an amazing experience, from the ambience to the music to food… Nobu was beautifully decorated only matched by its delicious food… I don’t drink but, mock-tail LYRE LIAR was absolutely tasty I believe I had about 3 glasses… something about the coconut milk and the pineapple juice 👩🏽‍🍳💋…..ohhhhh And the Wagyu Tacos 🤤 tiny delicious, buttery, juice , tender…. Coming back just for these alone. The Parmesan rice with truffle butter 🤯🤩🥳 was a flavor party in my mouth… it’s rich creamy, comes to the table sizzling and bits of mushrooms throughout. Never knew I needed something so 😋 tasty.

From the moment you walk in, the sleek yet inviting decor sets the tone for an elegant meal. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance—sophisticated but not pretentious, making it ideal for both special occasions and casual nights out. The service at Umi is impeccable. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, offering knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring a smooth, enjoyable dining experience. From the moment we were seated, everything felt seamless, from drink refills to perfectly timed dish arrivals. As for the food, every bite reflected freshness and precision. The sushi was expertly crafted, with high-quality fish that practically melted in your mouth. Signature rolls offered a creative twist without overpowering the delicate flavors of the ingredients. The hot dishes were equally impressive, with standout items like the miso-glazed black cod and tempura that was light and crisp. Pricing is on par with similar high-end sushi spots, making it a great value given the quality of food and overall experience. Umi proves that you don’t have to compromise when it comes to great sushi, excellent service, and a welcoming ambiance. Highly recommended!

We sat at the sushi bar and got to chat with Taka, owner chef. Which was great! I asked him for his menu suggestions and he gave me the show stoppers. The food was truly exquisite and the plating was quite breathtaking! The service was attentive, fast, efficient, kind , and welcoming. Definitely recommend Taka if you’re looking for amazing food, fresh sushi, and a memorable experience. The experience won’t be complete without trying the Taka Ramen. Please don’t hesitate truly superb! 11/10
