Food was very good, service was great, and I was able to make a short notice reservation late on a Saturday night. And of course, we had something chocolate! The only issue is that we could feel the cold air every time the door opened - but then again this is NYC in November! Maybe they could put some type of barrier around the door to help control or redirect the draft. Overall, we had a great time!

A truly exceptional dining experience; we started with the beets and the octopus which were both delicious and had an excellent Californian Zinfandel, the kitchen sent us a complimentary pasta dish which contained uni and lobster, this was also exquisite. For our entrees my date had the truffle pasta which she enjoyed thoroughly, I was going to order the rabbit but after being notified it was not available I went for the duck which was very nice and perfectly cooked. To end our meal we shared the pear miso tart and a scoop of honey and plum icecream. This dessert was so beautiful it pained us to break into it, but the flavors were extraordinary and each bite was bliss. This delicious meal and wine, although pricey, accompanied by warm efficient service made for a perfect dinner and date night. Thank you !

They made my daughter fifth birthday a dream come true from her non-alcoholic lollipop drink to the staff singing Gracie’s corner birthday song with a tug boat of ice cream. We had a blast!

Delicious food: warm tender bread, beet salad had the best tasting arugula and tangy dressing ( just right not over-dressed), Fusilli w/ricotta and braised beef sauce was rich and tasty. Our server was delightful, attentive, and respectful. Thank you Il Forno! We’ll be back!

Pre theater menu was great! Beautiful space, perfect location for pre theater dining, staff very nice and attentive. Highly recommend
