Fry bread and server were great, other food items were good but poor value for the price

It was the day before Valentines and I was searching for a place to take my love. They bent over backwards to make a way for me to come back and bring my husband. It was a fantastic meal and experience.

My husband and I took my dad to Mama’s for Valentine’s, and our meal was great! They can fix a lot of things on the menu GLUTEN FREE, so I splurged and had GF chicken fried steak with GF cream gravy! YUM!!! Hubby had liver and onions, which was great, and my dad had chopped steak. He said it was one of the best he’s ever had, which was a huge compliment from my dad! THANK YOU, MAMA’s for accommodating GF customers!!! San Antonio still lags far behind other cities in this area, so it’s nice to have a good options, especially in Southern home cooking, which is rarely GF.

Ray was a great server ! Very kind, quick and easy to talk to. He was welcoming and had a great vibe. Took his time serving us, we never felt rush. 1st time coming and will definitely be back. I enjoyed the 3 course valentines night menu. Thanks Ray!
