We're serving up tasty farm-to-kitchen dishes & cocktails out of our 'from scratch only' kitchen and bar. Microwave? Never heard of it. We use slow-cooking methods on our live wood grill, smoker and spit because everything tastes better that way. Main Street Bistro is located in the historic Old League City district right next to Helen’s Gardens on Main Street (hence the name). The menu here is a mix of local, Hispanic, coastal and Creole recipes. French cooking techniques and methods are used to produce stunning results like the famous Napa Valley burger. It’s made with rosemary mustard, Boursin cheese and peppered bacon. Another popular dish at Main Street Bistro is the shrimp and grits. The dish is covered in creamy cheese and Andouille sausage.     The food and the service were both great. The atmosphere was fun and energetic, but not too loud. The menu has a great variety of food types. Everything on the menu looked great-I had a hard time picking out what i wanted to order. We will definitely be back to try something new next time.

    Three of us met for lunch there today and had a perfect experience. I got the Yardbird, 1/4 fried chicken (I chose white meat) and it was some of the best fried chicken I have had in recent memory. It came with collard greens and mashed potatoes, both of which were great, although the potatoes were a bit dry. A friend got chicken and waffle with same fried chicken on a good looking waffle. The other got the bacon-cheeseburger with ground and braised beef. It looked totally awesome with hand cut fries. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Our server was attentive and checked on us a couple of times without being intrusive. I would strongly recommend this restauarant!

    Best food ever! The staff was wonderful, the chef is charming. The food was so good and the desert was something to write home about. We will be back in two years . Gumbo 5 stars. Fried chicken 5 stars can’t say enough about this restaurant and they accommodated a large group
