Liberty Kitchen & Oysterette (LKRO) prides itself in it’s Oyster Bar. The multiple use seating at and around the Oysterette is inviting and friendly. The huge oyster, fresh seafood and whole fish display showcases seasonality and the vastness of the seafood offerings at LKRO. A traditional Japanese Robata Grill and a vertical 'Trompo' Grill are part of the Oysterette’s flexibility in a small space making the 'mini-kitchen' capable of producing freshly shucked oysters, grilled oysters, sushi, seafood towers and fresh carved tacos.Moving into the main kitchen, the menu is just as wide and deep with a variety of local and regional seafood dishes and local Texas Beef. Our desire, as always, is to have a little something delicious for everyone and a menu for every palate as well as daily and weekly special features inspired by the bounty of available produce, meats and seafood in the Gulf Coast and beyond.

Located in a former auto shop in the vibrant Montrose neighborhood near The Menil Collection and Museum District, Clark’s Houston is the third and largest location of our popular neighborhood oyster bar and seafood restaurant.     Everything done right. Great oyster selection and quality. Fantastic shrimp cocktail. Crab cake was excellent. Octopus and Tuscan Kale also delicious. Service was responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly. One of the best seafood places from the standpoint of both food and ambience in a loaded category in our city.

    Our waiter Terrod was very attentive! He heard my husband mention us being married for almost 25 years when he was blessing the food and Terrod added that special message to our dessert. I just thought that was so thoughtful! Now the managers or host not sure who he was, was terrible! Both walked right past us and stopped to ask how the people in back of us were enjoying their food. The guy manager never said a word to us and we were in the very first table. He just seemed off.

    Thank you for turning down the music sound level. Initially the sound was too loud. And thank you for crediting me the smoked red fish dip, as we did not enjoy it. Next time I’ll get the lump crab cakes. Love the fried shrimp at Goode

    Me and my wife had a fantastic experience at the Rouxpour. It was the first time we have visited the restaurant and were immediately breathtaken by the environment, food, and service. The manager greeted us at our table and gave us upcoming events.
