Opening Angelo Pizza, Bar and Tapas restaurant was a passion of Chef Angelo Elia for more than eight years. While Casa D"Angelo has been a place for him to showcase his depth of Italian technique, he wanted to create a restaurant that felt more like the simple Italy he visits year after year where ingredients are at the forefront. A place where you could come and sit and pick at food as you want with friends. But it didn't come that easy. Like all things that are simple, careful thought and research has gone into the menu and the guarded sources of our premium ingredients. In the end, Angelo Elia Pizza is all about friends and a good bottle of wine enjoyed in a contemporary, easy dining atmosphere.     Had the pleasure of trying Camille's Pizzeria & Ristorante last night for the first time. It’s on Dixie Hwy South of Prospect in Oakland Park. The Pizza was delicious, perfect crust! The bolognese you could tell was made with love! Just had that long slow cooked taste ❤️ ! The absolute STAR of the show was the mussels. This was the best combination of special ingredients I have ever had and I eat mussels out often! Toasted Garlic, Crispy Pepperoni, Pickled Peppers & White Wine. It is a MUST TRY! To top off an excellent night of service the chef came out to talk to us and thank us for our support. We were not the only first timers there! Let’s spread the word! Trust me you will not be disappointed.

    Branzino is not as good as it was when I first started visiting this place in 2023. I won’t come back for it. Service was kind of slow. I had to go find the server to pay the bill, after sitting there for over 10 minutes.

    Everything was great as usual. Our waitress, Simona was wonderful and Nick, who served us in the past, helped out too. Louie Bossi's is a staple of Fort Lauderdale and should not be missed. Even the basic things are gamechangers. Do not miss their garlic bread served with ricotta and get the meatballs too so you can add a little sauce to the bread & ricotta. Superb!
