Melding the best offerings of Chef Tyson Cole’s first three restaurants (Uchi Austin, Uchiko, and Uchi Houston), the menu includes hot and cold tastings, makimono, yakimono, tempura, sushi, and sashimi. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. Open for over 20 years, Oishii Owner & Executive Chef Thanh Nguyen serves some of the most creative comfort sashimi, sushi, and specialty rolls (including many rice-less and gluten-free options) in Dallas. We have an extensive Pan-Asian menu that has classic Vietnamese dishes such as shaken beef tenderloin, fried whole snapper, and incredible pho, and Chinese favorites like peking duck and sea-salt style combination seafood. The beverage menu to include over 20 wines by the glass and a constantly rotating selection of the best 100 wines he can procure. Chef Teiichi Sakurai, well-known as the founder of Teppo (1995) and Tei Tei (1998), opened Tei-An in 2008 at One Arts Plaza.     My favorite meal! Yellow tail jalapeño, hearts of palm salad, miso black cod and Matto roll are all a must! Matto tuna roll is special to the Dallas restaurant. Ambiance is perfect!

    Sooo good! We’ve been trying to get into new Preston Forest location but unsuccessful. So decided to try this one. Nothing screams run more than pulling up to sushi restaurant with very few cars BUT we do eat super early. Decided to try it and WOW!! So delicious! Everything was so fresh! Amazing new rolls to try outside of our main sushi place. And for the record, when we left - it was packed!!! Can’t wait to get into Preston Forest location!

    I've been to the Catch in Vegas and it was amazing so I've been looking forward to this location opening. Everything exceeded my expectations. The venue is stunning, all of the staff was so friendly and attentive. Our meal was coursed appropriately and everything we ate was divine! Sometimes when restaurants expand to a new city, they lose the same high level of quality and care. Not Catch! Thank you for an amazing night. I'll be back again and again.

    It flat out amazing as always. I’ve been going to Uchi since the original one opened up in Austin. I will always be coming back. Also our waiter so very kind and knew the menu inside and out. Even letting us try his favorite dish! 10/10
