This is a traditional favorite, if we can arrange it, before going to a play at Portland Center Stage. Their wines by the glass are as satisfying as more expensive bottles. Give us the Nostrana salad & a Margherita pizza to share, with added prosciutto and arugula (pay the extra!), and we're off to a good start for the evening. Servers are knowledgeable, efficient, and still manage to treat guests like family.

Interesting Nostrana salad. Fettucini was a little dry but had a nice flavor. Excellent service.

I really like Hellfire better than when it was the Rock. The food is better. The service was great. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. Would definitely go again.

We have eaten there each time we have tickets for Portland Center Stage over the past several years and continue to enjoy the experience. The ambiance and staff are comfortable and relaxing. The waiters take time to interact in a comfortable, relaxing, and helpful manner and make the dining experience even more special. The food is consistently excellent.

We’re not what I’d call regulars but we’ve eaten at BJ’s many times. Every time we’ve eaten there, we’ve been happy with what we ordered and have been super happy with the service. When given a choice between several restaurants for our anniversary, my wife chose BJ’s last night. I think that speaks for itself.
