Paul later developed a new concept, becoming the Executive Chef, CEO and partner at Peli Peli - a nationally recognized South African Fusion Restaurant which opened in 2009 in Houston, Texas. The plains of Southern Brazil are filled with grazing cattle enjoying the vast pastures. These cattle are the source for the famous and centuries old Brazilian “Churrasco” barbecues. It was at these gatherings where Brazilian cowboys or “gauchos” would prepare large pieces of meat and slowly cook them over open flame pits. Our traditional gaucho chefs still follow these traditions to preserve the flavors of each cut of meat. We feature unlimited tableside service of different cuts of beef, pork, lamb, and chicken. We also feature a gourmet salad bar, and various traditional side dishes to complement the meats. You can control your service with a small green and red-sided card. The green side tells the gaucho chefs to bring out skewers of sizzling meats to the table while the red signals a stopping point. To re-start service, simply display the green side again.

Came for serotonin boast...Christmas decors were up and beautiful. I wanted a lite simple lunch but had 3course meal w my sister. We'll definitely come back. The staff were nice and understanding that we wanted to take pictures too.

Another wonderful meal at Mastro's. The lobster bisque and burrata and tomato salad were both exceptional, along with all the wonderful sides. The dry aged ribeye steak and Chilean sea bass were both standout stars of the meal. All our cocktails were delicious as well and served perfectly chilled to the table. The overall energy and ambiance of the restaurant added to the wonderful food and service. The Cinnamon Pecan butter cake which is the current dessert special was a wonderful way to cap off a satisfying meal.

Our dinner at Drake’s was just what we needed for a date night and a special time together for my boyfriends birthday. I appreciate the grace as we were running late and the team was accommodating and kind, even though we were behind schedule and closing was at 10p. Thank you for the hospitality. A little bit of kindness goes very long way.
