Daniel Berg is the Cofounder of Bill’s Oyster and Teddy’s Restaurant & Bar. Berg started his culinary career in New York, where he was also born and raised. Daniel attended the French Culinary Institute (NYC) as well as La Scuola Di Cucina (Colorno, IT). After completing culinary school he began working for critically acclaimed and James Beard award–winning Chef Andrew Carmellini. Berg would spend several years under Carmellini working for him beginning at Michelin-starred and three-starred New York Times restaurant A Voce. Berg would go on to help Carmellini open several more restaurants, including Locanda Verde, The Dutch and Bar Primi. He also spent a year working in Italy under Chef Massimo Montaro at the two-Michelin-starred restaurant Principe Cerami. Daniel would go on to work for Chef Daniel Boloud at his flagship three-star Michelin and four-star New York Times flagship restaurant Daniel, as well Eric Ripert’s Le Bernardin.

Located at 5520 Burnet Rd. (Ste. 100), The Peached Tortilla specializes in Asian comfort food with a Southern twist. While the restaurant has brought some of the trucks’ street food favorites to the restaurant including its famous tacos and JapaJam burger, it boasts a number of new menu items influenced by Chef Eric Silverstein's childhood growing up in Asia. Highlights include the Southern Fun (stir fried wide rice noodles with brisket, kale, onions and herbs), Dan Dan Noodles and the Malaysian Laksa bowl. The restaurant also features a full bar with craft cocktails, six draught beers and numerous wines. The Peached Tortilla also features a Sunday brunch program from 10:30am-2:30pm.

Our menus change with the season, farm availability, & on chefs whim. Join us for our nose to tail tasting menu nightly if you appreciate whole animal usage. Our wine program is aimed toward biodynamic natural small production wines. If you'd like to have pre or post dinner cocktails, our awesome neighbors include the tigress bar & drink.well.Please note that we have a 15 minute grace period on reservation arrival times. Should you find yourself running late, please give us a call or the table may be released to a waiting guest. Tables of 1-2 guests will be reserved for 1.5 hours, tables of 3-4 will be reserved for 1 hour and 45 minutes, tables of 6+ will be reserved for 2 hours. These times reflect standard dining times of our guests. Should you feel that you need additional time, please notate this.
