Have been coming here for years since stumbling upon this place several years ago. It has consistently remained my go-to spot in the city for an intimate Italian dinner. Cannot recommend enough.

Very fresh, delicious food. Recommend the scallops appetizer, set on a bed of mashed potatoes - melts in your mouth. Meatballs, any appetizer with eggplant. pear, radicchio and walnut salad makes you forget it's winter. The lamb chops are extraordinary and of a quality only a restaurant can get. Black cod Livorno - luscious!! Palma's pastry chef is exceptional - you can taste the actual ingredients without being overwhelmed by the sugar. Attentive, but not intrusive, staff. Charming, romantic setting, with fresh flowers everywhere!!

Our waitstaff was very pleasant. I loved my burger. Menu had enough choices for those in my group who wanted something traditional as well as for those who wanted to try something a little different (sticky rice starter). Felt comfortable in the room. Would visit again.

The hostess was welcoming, attentive & all around fabulous...we ordered the buratta & the meatballs which was delicious, the Brussel sprouts were was too Al dente, the branzino was wonderful although small & the flavor of my steak was great but I'm one who from experience won't send a steak back when under cooked at a restaurant that's crazy busy, how a chef or server cannot see the difference between medium rare and medium well & delivers it after specifically being told no pink, no red, no blood is beyond me. Had I not waited on line behind 6 ppl to use the one bathroom I would have been there when my entree arrived. Without asking the server spoke to the manager & had the steak removed which was very thoughtful, however I would have preferred to eat my entree with my partner since it was our anniversary. We'll definitely try again on our next trip back home as everything else about this place was beautiful.
