Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. Hamrock's Restaurant is located within the Moore-McCandlish House (built 1842) in the heart of historic Fairfax City. We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. We also have a wonderful hand-selected wine list to enhance your dining experience. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. Some of our best-selling dishes are our southern fried chicken, grilled meatloaf, and crab cakes-- all which are gluten free! Other menu favorites include our deviled eggs, firecracker shrimp, Atlantic grilled salmon, roasted pork tenderloin, and penne pasta with andouille sausage & shrimp. We have beautiful year-round outdoor seating options on our wrap around porch (we have heaters!) In the warmer months, we also open our courtyard. We're also more than happy to accommodate business dinners or other special occasions in private rooms.

    Again the Wine House was a wonderful dining experience. The server was super friendly and I think she brought us our drinks in about 2 minutes. All four of us were more than pleased with the quality of our entrees. The Wine House has always been one of our favorite restaurants because of its quality and atmosphere.

    Jack was out server and he was amazing! Very attentive and pleasant! We had a show to attend and he got everything out quickly in a manner where we didn’t feel rushed or uncomfortable! He was the perfect server!

    This is a nice restaurant; however, service was not particularly attentive, one of us didn't get the meal they ordered, and almost everything in every dish had WAY TOO MUCH pepper in it to be truly enjoyable. A true shame because the overall quality of the food, otherwise, was quite good. Generous portions for each of the 4 dishes we ordered. Nice presentation. Just too much pepper.

    We've been to Cooper's Hawk a few times, especially the one in Ashburn because it's closer to home. Unfortunately, they didn't have anything available when we wanted to go, but that's not the point. Every time we've been to either location, the experience has been outstanding! Everything is delicious, from the appetizers to the main course, dessert, and drinks. I love the passion fruit sangria! We took our family who came to visit from Arizona, and I was surprised when they told us they have a Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant there too! They really enjoyed their food and drinks. This place never disappoints, and for a Wednesday, it was packed! It was a little too loud to have a conversation, but it was still amazing! #CoopersHawk #Ashburn #DeliciousFood #GreatDrinks #FamilyFriendly #PackedWednesday
