The Morcilla team brings contemporary Spanish influenced cuisine to the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Enjoy a mix of pintxos, house made charcutería and large plates meant for sharing from our family-style menu. End your experience with churros and chocolate hazelnut fondue to round out the evening. Our beverage program features craft cocktails, an extensive wine list, a deep sherry and vermut selection and local craft beer. Our dining room is intimate, perfect for celebrating your next special occasion with your favorite person. If you prefer bar seating, the full menu is available there too. Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. Our welcoming and eclectic atmosphere is appropriate for almost any occasion - whether it be meeting a friend for a drink, celebrating an important event, or relaxing after work. Our menu is a mixture of familiar Pittsburgh foods (think pierogies, hamburgers, French fries) and French bistro classics (beef tartare, raclette, mussels), and seasonal classics that come and go throughout the year. We put care into our vegetarian dishes too, including making our own tempeh, falafel, and veggie patties from scratch. Menu items change frequently--usually every day--and reflect many long-standing relationships we have with farms and breweries in our region. In addition to reservations, we also have a thirty seat bar that is first come, first serve. We don’t know exactly how old the bar is, but it’s at least seventy years old (probably older) and very cozy. Our friendly bartenders are here to make something you like.

Meat & Potatoes is a high end gastropub in downtown Pittsburgh. Its kitchen takes as its inspiration the idea of elevating comfort food to a gourmet level. Its chefs are inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients and its bar staff creates innovative cocktails and serves a range of wines by the glass and draught beers, as well. The menu at Meat & Potatoes is a new take on basic. There are classic appetizers like fried pickles, grilled bread and fried Brussels sprouts, as well as more innovative fare like fried pigs ear and buttermilk fried chicken liver.     Everything is super balanced from the tapas to the large plates, the service is amazing and the ambiance made it a very comfortable experience. My date and I left with full bellies and left overs , 10/10!

    This was A Birthday dinner for me that my wife wanted to set up. We had 4 of our friends who joined us for this.The service was be on Perfect. Our Waiter (Nell) Went way about great. I used to live in Pgh. for Manny years.( Things Have changed a great deal in 20 years) This Restaurant in this building is Fantastic. The Food was very good. I used to know the Man that ran Station Square. (William Roberts) And he was in our Lodge. So I have been there many years ago. Keep up what your doing. I will be back. Jack

    My wife and I decided to celebrate her birthday at Eleven. We were not disappointed. Everything was wonderful! We started early with $9 cocktails at the bar. We had Martinis with Plymouth Gin for only $9. They were great! Then we got $9 glasses of wine to take to our table. We ordered oysters to start, and they tasted so fresh, sweet & briny. My wife had the pork chop and I had the radiatori. They were both delicious. Finally, we had the Trio of Ice Creams with very rich & creamy vanilla bean, lavender honey, & maple brown walnut butter. They were all so good. Nick, our server was excellent too. He never rushed us, but he seemed to be always there to ask if everything was OK and if we needed anything.

    The fancy crispy chicken sandwich was delicious but very messy to eat as a sandwich. I'm not sure I would change anything but perhaps offer a wet nap to patrons. 😊
