Gia is among the first restaurants in Canada to be recognized and recommended by the renowned Michelin Guide. Gia is a vibrant plant-forward 36 seat restaurant, specializing in handmade pasta with creative takes on Italian classics like plant-based meatballs, Focaccia, Ricotta Gnocchi, Rigatoni Bolognese, White Truffle Ricotta Agnolotti, Eggplant Parmigiana, Squash Risotto and Lion's Mane Steak.Reservations: We allocate a dining period of 2 hours and typically book at 5pm, 6pm and 8pm & 10pm, If you need more than 2 hours kindly let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate. Stefano's Diner is owned by Michelin recommended Gia Restaurant.Our plant based menu includes classic Italian fare: Focaccia, Mozzarella sticks, Baby Gem Salad, Arancini, Cashew Brie, Chicken Parmigiana, Buckwheat Rigatoni Bolognese, Plant based sandwiches on house made ciabatta, and the city's best plant based Smash Burger with bacon and blue cheese toppings. Saturday and Sunday Brunch we open at 10am serving Eggs Benny, BLTs, French Toast, Matcha Lattes, sandwiches and fresh juice. We offer 10 bar seats for walk in and 18 Dining room seats. The design is upscale with micro cemented walls and floors with a walnut and olive green banquette occupying most of the space. Vegan wine, cocktails and mocktails available and our entire menu is available for take out.We are open late on Fridays and Saturdays.Maximum seating time is 1.5 hours.

    Incredible food and fantastic service! We had the 3 course meal and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Olivia was our server and she was extemely knowledgable and ensured we felt welcome throughout the entire experience. The vegan food was out of this world and definitely the best we have ever had! Each dish was a celebration of fresh ingrediants and delicious flavours. We have found our new favourite restaurant and we will definitely be back!

    An excellent experience, with first rate service and very good food. The home made “catchup” was bland though, and did not complement the fries well. The burger was superb, and my guest thoroughly enjoyed the lamb meat loaf which looked fabulous!

    Everyone (even the carnivore in the group) loved the meal. And ensured the celiac member was fully protected. Bang bang broccoli is a must. Love the lettuce wraps. Loved the cheesecake dessert. And perhaps my favourite thing was the mezcal cocktail with green garnish (name forgotten)- not sweet, great flavour. Excellent service
